MEET THE FOUNDER

Hi, I'm Suzy!

Like many of us I passionately love our region! I'm creating an online magazine style blog and business directory here, with lots of great stories to come about places, faces and behind the scenes of people in our region from all walks of life.

I'm ex-media & PR and I've got heaps of great stories to share and lots of fabulous people to interview, plus a ton of awesome support from many business owners. So excited!

I've been supporting clients with marketing and social media (including Hurstbridge Village) for the last few years via my business Jaeger Communications.

I've now created Hurstbridge Region as a vehicle to help promote and connect local business owners within a 30-minute radius, through the HBR Business Group.

I'VE LIVED IN THE HURSTBRIDGE REGION FOR 18 YEARS

My first job was in a posh advertising agency

I worked with wild journalists in radio & television

I had a PR consultancy based in The Block Arcade in Melbourne

I've worked in the building industry, with ecologists ... and lots more!

I worked with Hurstbridge Village for three years - until recently

My unusual background includes working with the Precinct Program in the Westend of Melbourne where I helped grow a very successful business and tourism group ~ and for Jeff's Shed aka Melbourne Exhibition Centre Trust, in corporate affairs.

I have the skills and experience to bring my ambitions for the Hurstbridge Region to life!
